形態特徵

• Annual procumbent or ascending herbs, 10–80 cm tall; stems much branched, grooved, glabrous.
• Leaves subsessile, oblanceolate to elliptic, 0.7–1.5 cm long, 0.2–0.5 cm wide, apex acute to acuminate, base cuneate, both surfaces glabrous, papillose; ocreae 0.2–0.5 cm long, glabrous, conspicuously nerved, upper margins lacerate.
• Inflorescences 3–6-flowered fascicles in axils of upper leaves; bracts lacerate, glabrous. Flowers white to pink; pedicels included; perianth segments 5, 2–3 mm long, elliptic, apex acute; stamens 8; styles 3-cleft, exserted; nectaries absent.
• Achenes dark brown, trigonous, puncticulate, not shining, 2–3 mm long.

分布

• 台灣 : in meadows and river banks, newly naturalized.
• 世界 : Native to Europe and N Asia, but now widely distributed in temperate and subtropical regions.
